Building our Regions Round 6

The Building our Regions program has a long and successful history of supporting Queensland’s local governments to invest in essential regional infrastructure and creating flow-on economic development opportunities and jobs.

Round 6 of Building our Regions will offer $70 million over 3 years for local governments to improve their water supply and sewerage systems.

Funded projects

To date, including Round 6, the Building our Regions program has approved over $417 million towards 370 projects across 68 local governments and one town authority in regional Queensland, supporting an estimated 3179 jobs during construction and attracting additional investment of over $609.2 million from councils and other organisations.
