Design in Manufacturing Program

Design influences more than 70% of a product's final cost. Increased use of circular-design principles across the manufacturing process will help manufacturers:

• lower costs
• reduce waste and be more sustainable
• be more competitive
• grow and employ more Queenslanders.

The Design in Manufacturing Program program aims to:

• raise businesses' awareness of the importance of circular-design in manufacturing
• provide businesses with the capabilities to incorporate circular-design principles into their product and process design or redesign
• support businesses to design more sustainably.
